God
anoint my doorway.
before you enter
take off our shoes
light your incense
to light your way.
God,
for when they
enter, let it be with intention
to leave all that is not of God outside,
whatever your wrestling, can be given left here, at this doorway
let this space be one of surrender
where just the breath in your body is
all that rests between you and God
let that be enough
let home on this side of this doorway be full of prayer
contemplation within only the highest of wonderings
everything other is insignificant
and can wait another day
do we stop to ask
who are we adhering to anyway?
if not God.
only God is welcome here,
this door way holds sanctum.
nothing passes that is not meant to
nothing is here that cannot be healed
know that when you enter,
what you say,
what you do
matters.
what you have is shared
good and bad.
there is no separation between the energy that flows you and the energy that flows me,
so before you enter,
take off our shoes
light your incense
and ask is it necessary.
